Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and StackPrism. By using stackprism.ai you agree to them. If you use StackPrism for a company, you're agreeing on its behalf. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

You sign in with Google. Keep access to that account secure; you're responsible for what happens in your StackPrism account. You must be at least 16 to use StackPrism.

The free plan includes the features listed on our pricing section, with a monthly allowance of AI processing that resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). When it runs out, AI features pause until it resets. Pro costs $19.99 per month (or the yearly price shown at checkout, where offered), plus any tax that applies.

Fair use. Pro is flat-rate, not unlimited compute. Each billing period includes a generous fair-use allowance of AI processing, which you can track as a percentage on the billing page. If you reach it, AI features pause until your next period starts. Normal use doesn't come close.

We may change prices or plan contents. Price changes apply from your next billing period after we've told you, and you can cancel before then.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period and is charged to your saved payment method until you cancel. If a payment fails we'll retry for a short grace period; if it still fails, your account moves to the free plan.

• Cancel anytime from the billing page (“Manage subscription” opens the Stripe customer portal). You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to the free plan. Your projects stay.
• 7-day refund on your first payment. If StackPrism isn't for you, email hello@stackprism.ai within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. No forms, no questions required.
• Renewals after the first payment aren't refunded, but cancelling stops the next one. If something went wrong on our side (a double charge, an outage that stopped you using what you paid for), email us and we'll put it right.

This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under consumer law where you live.

You own what you put into StackPrism (descriptions, files, repository contents) and the diagrams, sheets and briefs it produces for you. You give us permission to process that content only to run the service for you, including sending it to our AI model provider as described in the privacy policy.

Only give us content you have the right to use. If you connect a GitHub repository, you confirm you're allowed to let StackPrism read it.

StackPrism's suggestions come from AI models and public data sources. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Stack Pulse reports what public sources such as OSV.dev and endoflife.date say at the time of the check; a clean report doesn't mean your system is secure. Review recommendations before relying on them, especially for security, compliance and cost decisions. StackPrism isn't a substitute for a security audit.

Don't:

• break the law, or use StackPrism to plan anything harmful;
• try to get around the free allowance, fair-use limits or paywall, for example with multiple accounts;
• scrape, overload, reverse engineer or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission;
• resell access, or use StackPrism to build a competing dataset or model;
• upload content that isn't yours to share, or that contains other people's secrets.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules. If we close a paid account for a reason other than abuse, we'll refund the unused part of the period.

We work to keep StackPrism running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” without a guaranteed uptime. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever shut StackPrism down, we'll give paying users at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid time.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

You can stop using StackPrism and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@stackprism.ai. Cancel any subscription first so you aren't billed again.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell signed-in users in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use StackPrism after that means you accept the new terms.
