Connect your coding agent
Give Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client direct access to your StackPrism projects.
What your agent can do
- Pull the build brief for a project and build it, instead of you copying files around.
- Check stack health while it works: vulnerable dependencies, end-of-life versions and licences.
- Read the fixes, hardening checklist, env template, History and repo timeline.
- Ask Prism Agent, design a new stack, and propose or apply changes to a diagram.

Plus two ready-made prompts: build_this_stack and investigate_breakage.
1Create an access token
Make one per machine or agent, so you can revoke them separately.
2Add StackPrism to your agent
Pick your agent and run its setup.
Set up manually
Replace <YOUR_TOKEN> with your token.
Run this once in a terminal. Add --scope user to use StackPrism in every project, not just this folder.
Add the server
$ claude mcp add --transport http stackprism /api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_TOKEN>"Check it with claude mcp list, or /mcp inside a session.
3Try it
Ask your agent something like:
Use StackPrism to get the build brief for <project> and build it step by step.Check whether my dependencies are safe with StackPrism.Ask Prism Agent why <X> broke.
Keep tokens safe
A token acts as you: anyone with it can read your projects and use StackPrism’s tools. StackPrism only ever reads your connected repositories, never writes to them. Revoke a token here any time and it stops working straight away. Prism Agent and other AI tools use the same allowance as the app.
